Egad! Max Headroom!

If the retro remake trend continues then it will be baffling if Max Headroom is overlooked. Currently ZDTVMultimedia is uploading Max Headroom episodes. The one above is the pilot for Channel 4 which is a bit darker than the American series. The future usually dates badly but the view of dystopia is as relevant now as it was in 1984.

Except Max Headroom didn’t appear until 1985, so that comment doesn’t quite work. If you go to the YouTube page and click the button at the bottom right then you can watch a larger view of the film. It chops up occasionally, but for a cyberpunk show that probably adds to the authenticity.
